Led by MoD Archivist, Laura Camilleri, this workshop is suitable for the owners of historic urban and village properties throughout Dufferin County, or for anyone interested in learning more about researching historic buildings. You will be guided through various resources to decode the history of a property and its past occupants.
Participants are welcome to stay after the workshop to continue their research. Please ensure that if you bring a specific address to research that you have the legal description ready (i.e. Lot 1, Concession 2).
Participants do not need to live in or own a heritage home to join the workshop. Prior research experience is not necessary. Get ready to start exploring!
